Looks like we’d soon have the first split of the year and it could be none other than the much famed couple of Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. The two reportedly spent the Christmas vacation separately after Justin thought that their days as a couple were just about numbered. Justin spent the time at home with his family in Tennessee, while the Charlie’s Angels star chose some skiing to staying at home of course the family did accompany her to the resort.

Beyonce Knowles dreams of winning a Academy Award this year seems to be all but gone as the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts& Sciences has disqualified the singer to be eligible for the award. Beyonce who stars in the film version of Dreamsgirls has been ruled ineligible for the Academy Award for Best Song. Beyonce along with Henry kriegier, Anne Preven and Scott Culter are credited with the song but its Beyonce who finds her name missing from the list of qualifiers.

The LA times reports that the Songwriting branch of the Academy has said that “no more than two statuettes will be normally given in the original song category” But the Academy clarifies that a third statuette may be awarded when there are “three equal contributors to the song” Well, as things stand looks like the Academy doesn’t really think that Beyonce is an equal contributor… I might not disagree though… cos of late Beyonce seems to be more booty shaking than singing for me…
