Paula Abdul was captured having a meltdown during a recent conference call with a group of publicists this week. She says on the tape:

“I’ve never been treated this way and I’ve never seen anybody treated this way. This is just too much to stomach. I’ve been going through tremendous amounts of a difficult time. I do a call-in every week for OK! Magazine on ‘American Idol.’ Because of my brilliant job, they want to do a cover on me. I’m being told by Howard Bragman that I’m too old and no one will ever want to do a cover. I’m being tested. All I’ve ever wanted in my life is to be treated fairly and be treated with kindness. And I’ve never in my entire career been treated this way. The people who are supposed to take care of these things do not. I have to clean up after them everywhere they go. And I’m tired of it. Howard Bragman on Monday - he did some disgusting behavior. I had to go to Jimmy Kimmel with no publicist there. [Abdul appeared on Kimmel’s show on May 15.] I go on with no publicist there and I pay this man … I don’t understand how this man can call me a whining bitch. I’ve never in my life been called a whining bitch and a loser.”

Remember last week when she allegedly broke her nose after tripping over her Chihuahua? Turns out she lied, and she actually cut it when she threw a glass against the wall and it shattered. So, yeah, if you couldn’t already tell from just looking at her, there’s something very wrong with her mind. I give it a week before she can’t even walk straight, and starts stumbling around mumbling incoherently, unable to focus her eyes. And by a week I mean two years ago.

Jessica Alba is concerned regarding the illiteracy prevailing among the Latinas. So she has decided to fund her relatives for their college education.

She says, “Seeing all these girls who are uneducated - it’s not fair. They deserve just as much of a chance to contribute to society as anybody else. Beyonce Knowles is too scared to have a baby! The curvaceous singer who is engaged to Jay-Z, says: “I think I have a long way to go before I’d be able to handle looking after a child. I probably will have a baby one day, but not for a while.” Beyonce recalls the tough time she had watching her sister Solange give birth to a baby boy: “I was there when Solange gave birth and I swear it was enough to put anyone off for life! The doctors had to give me drinks because I was turning purple. It was crazy but, at the same time, quite beautiful. When I was watching I thought, ‘I’m never going to have a baby’. But now, when I see my nephew, I think he’s the best thing in the world. He’s so cute and clever - I love him so much.” Hmm…

David Hyde Pierce (the guy who played Niles on Frasier) has officially come out of the closet after an AP story appeared on CNN saying: “Pierce got to Los Angeles in the early 1990s when his partner, actor-writer-producer Brian Hargrove, wanted to write for television.” Pierce’s sexuality has always been an open secret in Hollywood although he’s never formally come out. AfterElton.com contacted a rep for Pierce about the AP story, and they confirmed that Hargrove is indeed Pierce’s life partner.

Well this is just shocking shocking news. If you told me he wrestled bears all day and won a tree chopping competition then, yeah, that makes sense. But gay? No, no, that just doesn’t sound right at all.

Pamela Anderson is a hopeless romantic.

The former ‘Baywatch’ actress - who has been married twice to rockers Tommy Lee and Kid Rock -believes in true love, but admits she sometimes jumps into relationships too quickly.

Pammie, who is currently dating American football star David Binn, said: “I’m basically a real romantic and want to be in love, but maybe I jump into things too quickly.”

The 39-year-old actress also thinks she has been too hasty in her career, and has often taken on roles or agreed to modelling work without preparing properly.

She explained: “When it comes to my career, I’ve always had a tendency to be in over my head and then have had to work my way into a safe place.”

Pammie recently revealed she was considering adopting a child with San Diego Chargers player David.

The blonde - who visited a Russian orphanage in April - said: “Would I be ready to adopt a child? I’m not saying it’s impossible. I have my two boys and it would just be so amazing to make one more kid happy in this life.

“David loves kids, he is very strong and at the same time very tender.”

Hugh Grant desperately wants to work with Cameron Diaz and Meg Ryan, for they are among the few leading ladies he hasn’t yet shared screen space with.

The actor, who has starred opposite some of Hollywood’s biggest female stars like Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore, insists that there are still a few very talented actresses that he would love to work with.

“I sometimes think I’ve worked with all the film actresses there are out there, but there are still a couple whom I’d like to work with if I could,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

“I’ve always loved Meg Ryan. And I very much admire Cameron Diaz. I’d love to work with either of them,” he added.

Grant, who has hits like ‘Notting Hill’, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’, ‘Nine Months’ and ‘Love Actually’ under his belt, was most recently seen on the big screen opposite Drew Barrymore in the romantic comedy ‘Music and Lyrics’.
